Yojana Helpline: Why the people of India need to be vaccinated
As the pandemic continues to make the lives of people difficult, things are finally starting to light up thanks to the recent roll-out of the vaccines.
Here at Yojana Helpline, we want you to know about the schemes here in India that would benefit the nation. One of the things that the government did to help the country is the Mission COVID Suraksha scheme. This plan aims to aid in the clinical trials and creation of Indian vaccines to fight the virus.
However, most of the people still hasn’t been fully vaccinated. As of today, only 8.3% of the total population of the country has been fully vaccinated. It is worth noting that this number increases by the day as more and more people are getting their doses. But, some people still think that getting vaccinated is unnecessary or a bad idea.
To prove to the doubters of this vaccine that their mindset is wrong, here are some of the reasons why you should get vaccinated:
It will help rebuild the economy
India is one of the poorest countries in the world. The last thing that it needs is a halted economy. When the majority of the people get vaccinated, the country will finally be able to rebuild its economy.
Tons of businesses have closed down ever since the pandemic hit and it heavily affected the country’s economic growth. Also, millions of people lost their jobs which makes the vaccination that much more important. If they get fully vaccinated, they can begin to find jobs and work again.
Activities will be less restricted
Those who are fully vaccinated will get several perks, one of which is that they can do the things that they used to do before the pandemic started. This may include dining out, going to the gym, buying groceries with fewer restrictions, etc.
People who work outside such as street vendors can also go back into operation once the majority of the people get vaccinated.
It’s entirely safe
There are still some people that doubt the safety of the vaccines. Some believe that the body will get negative medical effects in the future while some think that it can cause death. While it is true that some people may experience side effects, it will never be as drastic as they think.
These vaccines went through all the required clinical trials. This means that they wouldn’t be given to the public if they didn’t pass these tests. Scientists also put a lot of effort into making these vaccines and they weren’t rushed at all. To top it all off, careful research was done to make sure that they are 100% effective and safe.
India is the world’s largest vaccine manufacturer yet millions of people are still left unvaccinated. Hopefully, with the remainder of the year, the majority of the people will realize the importance of getting the vaccine so that the country can go back to normal.
